Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which rose 3.29% or 1.61 points to trade at 50.50 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) added 2.84% or 16.5 points to end at 598.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was up 2.54% or 8.3 points to 334.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which lost 1.93% or 7.6 points to trade at 386.5 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) declined 1.23% or 8.0 points to end at 640.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) shed 0.97% or 3.3 points to 338.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 81 to 81 and 3 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.03% or 0.59 to $56.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.12% or 0.07 to hit $62.13 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1187.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.8333, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4593.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 97.38.
