Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.19% or 4.8 points to trade at 408.4 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.02% or 2.9 points to end at 287.3 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.71% or 2.2 points to 310.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 2.12% or 18.5 points to trade at 853.5 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.04% or 23.0 points to end at 1103.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.26% or 120 points to 9405.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 54 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.58% or 0.27 to $47.04 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.75% or 0.37 to hit $49.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.30% or 3.95 to trade at $1325.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.6021, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4454.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.02% at 94.75.
