Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.60% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 2.81% or 14.5 points to trade at 530.5 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 0.91% or 2.8 points to end at 311.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.19% or 0.3 points to 162.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 2.38% or 270 points to trade at 11060 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.96% or 230 points to end at 11500 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.41% or 20.0 points to 1395.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 32 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.29% or 0.14 to $48.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.41% or 0.21 to hit $50.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.25 to trade at $1249.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.8807, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4381.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 99.41.
