Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.03% or 1.4 points to trade at 137.6 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.89% or 11.0 points to end at 1241.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.25% or 0.8 points to 315.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which lost 2.71% or 13.5 points to trade at 485.0 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.22% or 22.0 points to end at 969.5 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.68% or 140 points to 8175.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 57 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.51% or 0.25 to $48.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.38% or 0.19 to hit $49.85 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 2.51% or 30.45 to trade at $1243.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.62% to 6.5607, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4398.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.56% at 94.07.
