Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.49% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.03% or 16.0 points to trade at 806.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.76% or 4.5 points to end at 260.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.50% or 6.4 points to 432.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 4.56% or 420 points to trade at 8790 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.39% or 385 points to end at 8380 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 1.39% or 6.2 points to 440.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 76 to 59 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.78% or 1.24 to $43.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.68% or 1.23 to hit $44.61 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 2.68% or 33.90 to trade at $1232.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.51% to 6.8666, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 99.06.
