Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 0.45% or 0.30 points to trade at 66.70 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 0.43% or 0.6 points to end at 138.7 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.30% or 1.5 points to 506.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 1.53% or 16.0 points to trade at 1029.0 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.23% or 10.0 points to end at 805.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 1.19% or 7.5 points to 623.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 69 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.87% or 1.76 to $47.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.63% or 1.74 to hit $49.72 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.66% or 8.85 to trade at $1340.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.6151, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4425.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.08.
