Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE), which rose 0.84% or 1.7 points to trade at 203.2 at the close. Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.71% or 1.0 points to end at 141.7 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 0.71% or 2.4 points to 338.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which lost 1.17% or 4.4 points to trade at 372.6 in late trade. DSV (COP:DSV) declined 0.85% or 1.9 points to end at 222.5 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) shed 0.67% or 3.5 points to 522.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 65 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.12% or 0.07 to $59.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.15% or 0.10 to hit $63.30 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1172.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 6.6997, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4615.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 95.81.
