Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH), which rose 2.78% or 9.7 points to trade at 358.0 at the close. Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) added 0.65% or 2.1 points to end at 325.8 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was up 0.61% or 0.30 points to 49.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (COP:GEN), which lost 2.27% or 13.5 points to trade at 581.5 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) declined 1.69% or 1.45 points to end at 84.25 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) shed 1.17% or 6.0 points to 507.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 71 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.90% or 0.51 to $57.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.78% or 0.48 to hit $62.49 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.46% or 5.40 to trade at $1163.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.7239, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4577.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.25% at 96.23.
