Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 4.79% or 15.6 points to trade at 341.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 3.26% or 10.4 points to end at 329.3 and COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) was up 3.12% or 15.4 points to 508.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which lost 0.21% or 0.3 points to trade at 146.0 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 0.27% or 0.9 points to end at 335.1 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) gained 0.49% or 0.25 points to 51.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 108 to 46 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.43% or 0.86 to $61.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.10% or 0.71 to hit $65.59 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.75% or 8.80 to trade at $1186.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6075, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4628.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.38% at 94.80.
