Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.04% or 25.0 points to trade at 1252.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 2.04% or 4.5 points to end at 225.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.80% or 10.5 points to 595.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.05% or 3.1 points to trade at 291.4 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 0.86% or 1.2 points to end at 138.3 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) shed 0.20% or 0.15 points to 73.85.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 67 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.09% or 1.48 to $46.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.90% or 1.42 to hit $47.58 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.78% or 9.30 to trade at $1180.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 7.0191, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4400.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 101.49.
