Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 11.20% or 95.5 points to trade at 948.5 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 2.34% or 6.3 points to end at 275.8 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.78% or 4.3 points to 245.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which lost 3.77% or 26.0 points to trade at 664.0 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.68% or 145 points to end at 8500 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.57% or 140 points to 8780.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 54 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.33% or 1.01 to $44.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.78% or 1.65 to hit $45.28 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.35 to trade at $1262.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.00% to 6.5360, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4406.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 94.18.
