Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 4.31% or 11.5 points to trade at 278.5 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.28% or 3.2 points to end at 143.4 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.72% or 11.5 points to 678.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 1.54% or 0.56 points to trade at 35.76 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.95% or 85 points to end at 8875 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 0.86% or 80 points to 9270.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 57 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.45% or 1.09 to $45.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.45% or 1.15 to hit $48.12 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.31% or 4.15 to trade at $1347.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 6.6482, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4399.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 95.54.
