Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.47% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.69% or 9.2 points to trade at 351.5 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.67% or 190 points to end at 11550 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 1.61% or 1.90 points to 120.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 0.76% or 2.1 points to trade at 276.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.75% or 2.2 points to end at 292.2 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.26% or 1.1 points to 422.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 80 to 39 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.82% or 0.98 to $52.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.06% or 1.17 to hit $55.53 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.85% or 10.55 to trade at $1225.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.38% to 7.0149, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4369.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 100.99.
