Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.74% or 5.3 points to trade at 310.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.57% or 13.0 points to end at 842.5 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.57% or 145 points to 9355 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which lost 1.67% or 7.5 points to trade at 441.5 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.60% or 4.3 points to end at 264.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 0.86% or 4.1 points to 470.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 73 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.82% or 1.80 to $45.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.58% or 1.76 to hit $47.45 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.40% or 4.80 to trade at $1186.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 7.0020, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4403.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 101.15.
