Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which rose 2.94% or 1.46 points to trade at 51.15 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 2.87% or 9.4 points to end at 337.1 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 1.85% or 6.1 points to 336.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which lost 1.06% or 1.5 points to trade at 140.1 in late trade. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 0.55% or 2.1 points to end at 382.5 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) shed 0.29% or 2.0 points to 679.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 94 to 60 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.96% or 1.20 to $60.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.08% or 1.36 to hit $64.12 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.56% or 6.70 to trade at $1187.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.02% to 6.6223, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4600.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.64% at 95.39.
