Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which rose 3.03% or 3.30 points to trade at 112.10 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.72% or 7.3 points to end at 432.8 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.13% or 6.0 points to 535.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 2.57% or 20.5 points to trade at 776.5 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.83% or 27.0 points to end at 1448.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 1.15% or 4.3 points to 370.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 64 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.49% or 0.24 to $49.07 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $51.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.55 to trade at $1233.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.9214, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4352.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.16.
