Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 1.22% or 115 points to trade at 9520 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 0.97% or 95 points to end at 9920 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.85% or 1.6 points to 190.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 0.82% or 9.0 points to trade at 1094.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.65% or 1.8 points to end at 274.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 0.47% or 4.0 points to 849.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $47.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.32% or 0.16 to hit $49.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.90 to trade at $1326.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.49% to 6.6302, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4456.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.54% at 95.19.
