Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.05% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 2.49% or 280 points to trade at 11540 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.10% or 250 points to end at 12170 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.66% or 5.3 points to 323.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which lost 3.09% or 3.80 points to trade at 119.30 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.21% or 5.40 points to end at 239.40 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.85% or 2.2 points to 257.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 38 and 29 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.63% or 0.34 to $54.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.42% or 0.24 to hit $57.13 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.71% or 8.35 to trade at $1172.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 7.0525, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4341.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.74% at 102.14.
