Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.72% or 9.9 points to trade at 373.9 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 2.26% or 6.7 points to end at 303.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.29% or 3.00 points to 235.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 1.12% or 2.3 points to trade at 203.1 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 0.82% or 2.4 points to end at 289.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 0.52% or 0.6 points to 114.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 70 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.07% or 0.03 to $45.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.15% or 0.07 to hit $46.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.18% or 2.15 to trade at $1226.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.9534, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4422.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 100.28.
