Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.03% or 70.0 points to trade at 6870.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.84% or 480.0 points to end at 57500.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.65% or 100.0 points to 15600.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which lost 4.38% or 170.0 points to trade at 3710.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 3.69% or 370.0 points to end at 9670.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 2.30% or 560.0 points to 23740.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 12 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.18% or 1.40 to $116.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.06% or 2.00 to hit $3309.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.45% or 5.10 to trade at $1132.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.75% to 3007.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.16% to 756.20.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.73% at 96.06.
