Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 0.61% or 180.0 points to trade at 29500.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 0.46% or 5.0 points to end at 1100.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was up 0.27% or 5.0 points to 1875.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.81% or 35.0 points to trade at 1210.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 2.22% or 0.4 points to end at 17.6 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.65% or 220.0 points to 13080.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 6 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.96% or 3.03 to $151.77 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.12% or 62.00 to hit $2857.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.23% or 3.15 to trade at $1341.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.27% to 2920.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.62% to 900.60.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 95.39.
