Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB), which rose 0.56% or 10.0 points to trade at 1795.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) added 0.51% or 3.0 points to end at 592.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 0.47% or 5.0 points to 1070.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which lost 3.60% or 1320.0 points to trade at 35300.0 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) declined 3.13% or 1180.0 points to end at 36460.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 1.48% or 20.0 points to 1335.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.94% or 2.70 to $136.20 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 2.23% or 49.00 to hit $2247.00 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.23% or 2.65 to trade at $1133.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.20% to 2991.42, while BRL/COP rose 0.31% to 914.67.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 103.02.
