Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 2.12% or 75.0 points to trade at 3610.0 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) added 1.03% or 180.0 points to end at 17600.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 0.12% or 10.0 points to 8200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 7.51% or 195.0 points to trade at 2400.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.84% or 25.0 points to end at 1335.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 1.79% or 300.0 points to 16500.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 3 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.02% or 1.29 to $127.17 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 1.00% or 30.50 to hit $3081.00 , while the April Gold contract fell 1.87% or 23.60 to trade at $1235.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.48% to 3171.50, while BRL/COP fell 3.28% to 869.29.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.41% at 96.62.
