Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.60% or 140.0 points to trade at 8880.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 0.80% or 240.0 points to end at 30140.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.51% or 100.0 points to 19760.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 7.69% or 85.0 points to trade at 1020.0 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) declined 1.29% or 15.0 points to end at 1145.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) shed 0.78% or 300.0 points to 38200.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 7 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.72% or 2.56 to $151.68 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.32% or 6.50 to hit $2003.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.55 to trade at $1237.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.47% to 2899.80, while BRL/COP rose 0.24% to 937.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 101.35.
