Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.58% or 150.0 points to trade at 9650.0 at the close. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) added 1.02% or 30.0 points to end at 2980.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.71% or 100.0 points to 14180.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which lost 4.56% or 160.0 points to trade at 3350.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.61% or 270.0 points to end at 7210.0 and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) shed 4.11% or 300.0 points to 7000.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 9 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 6.04% or 8.04 to $125.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.08% or 2.50 to hit $3107.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.96% or 11.40 to trade at $1176.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.13% to 2884.00, while BRL/COP fell 3.35% to 741.62.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 94.76.
