Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 2.55% or 640.0 points to trade at 25760.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.40% or 360.0 points to end at 26120.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 0.75% or 180.0 points to 24260.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.50% or 200.0 points to trade at 13100.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.47% or 160.0 points to end at 10740.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 1.37% or 160.0 points to 11480.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.25% or 0.30 to $121.83 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.75% or 22.00 to hit $2942.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.95 to trade at $1219.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.25% to 3052.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.26% to 852.08.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 95.14.
