Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Services, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 1.21% or 12.0 points to trade at 1000.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 0.75% or 80.0 points to end at 10720.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.67% or 100.0 points to 14940.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 3.14% or 340.0 points to trade at 10500.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 2.71% or 300.0 points to end at 10780.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.05% or 6.0 points to 564.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.66% or 3.62 to $132.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.28% or 5.50 to hit $1960.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.53 to trade at $1255.43 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.50% to 3027.94, while BRL/COP rose 0.35% to 962.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.82.
