Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.11% or 30.0 points to trade at 2740.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 0.69% or 220.0 points to end at 31900.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 0.40% or 4.0 points to 1000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 1.35% or 860.0 points to trade at 62620.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 1.03% or 120.0 points to end at 11560.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 0.97% or 6.0 points to 611.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.03% or 0.04 to $128.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.08% or 39.00 to hit $1837.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 3.93 to trade at $1213.63 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.89% to 3062.23, while BRL/COP fell 0.25% to 939.31.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 95.80.
