Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.11% or 680.0 points to trade at 62000.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 0.47% or 5.0 points to end at 1070.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was up 0.42% or 160.0 points to 38460.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 1.52% or 9.0 points to trade at 582.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.28% or 30.0 points to end at 2320.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 1.09% or 0.2 points to 18.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.10% or 0.15 to $156.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.04% or 1.00 to hit $2717.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1267.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.17% to 2931.07, while BRL/COP fell 0.10% to 929.94.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.35% at 98.63.
