Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.86% or 300.0 points to trade at 10800.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.16% or 15.0 points to end at 1310.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.09% or 15.0 points to 1390.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.21% or 240.0 points to trade at 10640.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.06% or 6.0 points to end at 558.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) shed 1.05% or 280.0 points to 26420.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.49% or 1.98 to $130.72 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.58% or 31.00 to hit $1929.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 3.93 to trade at $1250.37 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.13% to 3030.90, while BRL/COP fell 0.60% to 956.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 93.92.
