Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) added 0.99% or 20.0 points to end at 2045.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was up 0.85% or 4.0 points to 477.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 3.79% or 105.0 points to trade at 2665.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 2.70% or 500.0 points to end at 18000.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.78% or 580.0 points to 32080.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.62% or 3.14 to $122.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.07% or 1.50 to hit $2042.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.97% or 13.00 to trade at $1323.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.06% to 2839.36, while BRL/COP rose 0.81% to 877.80.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 89.53.
