Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as in the sectors propelled shares .

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 1.70% or 540.0 points to trade at 32380.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 1.50% or 15.0 points to end at 1015.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.36% or 440.0 points to 32680.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 1.14% or 15.0 points to trade at 1300.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 0.98% or 180.0 points to end at 18100.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 0.64% or 180.0 points to 28120.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.40% or 0.50 to $124.72 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 2.45% or 49.00 to hit $1947.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.91% or 12.30 to trade at $1339.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.05% to 2843.35, while BRL/COP rose 0.86% to 900.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 89.16.
