Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p), which rose 2.94% or 35.0 points to trade at 1225.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.76% or 320.0 points to end at 18460.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.91% or 120.0 points to 13300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB), which added 0.53% or 10.0 points to trade at 1880.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 62500.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) 0.00% or 0.0 points to 1095.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 24 to 2 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.90% or 1.40 to $154.80 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.88% or 54.00 to hit $2919.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.69% or 9.15 to trade at $1340.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.39% to 2883.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.01% to 893.55.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 95.33.
