Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.56% or 140.0 points to trade at 9140.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.34% or 440.0 points to end at 33240.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 1.05% or 140.0 points to 13440.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.86% or 220.0 points to trade at 11620.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 1.03% or 160.0 points to end at 15300.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 0.96% or 6.0 points to 620.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 11 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.79% or 1.00 to $126.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.47% or 51.00 to hit $2011.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.01 to trade at $1268.89 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.06% to 2933.45, while BRL/COP rose 0.38% to 886.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 96.98.
