Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 1.48% or 260.0 points to trade at 17860.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 1.41% or 15.0 points to end at 1080.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.40% or 260.0 points to 18880.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 0.84% or 20.0 points to trade at 2360.0 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) declined 0.81% or 10.0 points to end at 1225.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) shed 0.47% or 120.0 points to 25600.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 12 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.41% or 2.09 to $146.23 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.27% or 36.00 to hit $2795.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 1.00% or 12.70 to trade at $1255.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.83% to 2905.85, while BRL/COP fell 0.89% to 901.85.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 96.68.
