U.S. stocks traded mixed, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 30 points on Wednesday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.

  • Conduit Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: CDT) shares surged 39.7% to $6.72.
  • LiveVox Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LVOX) climbed 8.1% to $3.61 after NICE announced it will acquire the company.
  • FREYR Battery (NYSE: FREY) gained 7.5% to $4.9250. FREYR issued an update this morning on the company’s continued operational progress at the Customer Qualification Plant in Mo i Rana, Norway.
  • Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE: AYI) rose 6.6% to $178.48 following better-than-expected quarterly earnings.
  • Brooge Energy Limited (NASDAQ: BROG) shares gained 6.6% to $5.85 after the company announced GULFNAV submitted a proposal to acquire all of its businesses and assets.
  • RPM International Inc. (NYSE: RPM) rose 6.3% to $98.65 after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and issued guidance.
  • Cantaloupe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTLP) climbed 6% to $6.74.
  • WK Kellogg Co (NYSE: KLG) gained 5.8% to $11.90.
  • Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: BW) climbed 5.5% to $3.59. Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises said its Canadian subsidiary, Babcock & Wilcox Canada Corp., was awarded nearly $11 million power plant maintenance contract.
