Truett-Hurst, Inc. is a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiary, H.D.D. LLC, is a producer of luxury wines and operates two wine tasting rooms. The Company also leases a winery where wine is produced from many varieties of grapes principally grown or purchased in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley appellations. The Company produces luxury tier Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Syrah for its three brands: Truett Hurst, VML and Svengali. The Company operates primarily in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) channel, which consists of sales of products produced by the Company through its own tasting rooms, wine clubs and Websites.
