Sampath Bank PLC, together with its subsidiaries, provides various banking products and services in Sri Lanka. It operates through four segments: Corporate Banking, Retail and Personal Banking, Dealing/Investment, and Others. The company provides current, savings, term deposit, foreign currency, money market, investment, and clubs and societies accounts, as well as accounts for professionals. It also offers business, refinance, housing, pawning and gold, money market, and personal loans; leasing services; trade, export, import, warehouse, and dealer financing; overdrafts; cash management; safe deposit lockers and gift vouchers; relationship banking and foreign remittance services; factoring services; and online and mobile banking services. In addition, the company provides corporate finance services comprising financial services; special projects; bankers to IPOs SPOs rights issues and debenture issues; margin trading; escrow and custodian services; and renewable energy. Further, it offers international trade services; and treasury services, including spot contracts, forward exchange contracts, repo and reverse repo, and treasury bills and bonds; credit, debit, and prepaid cards; and trade finance and merchant services. Additionally, the company is involved in stock broking; system integration and consultancy services; and renting of commercial properties. The company was incorporated in 1986 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
