It primarily develops hybrids with nutritional and economical traits in fiber crops, including cotton; cereal crops, such as paddy, maize and bajra, and vegetable crops. Its products include field crops, vegetable crops and oil seed crops. Its field crops include Hybrid Bajra Amol, Hybrid Bajra RJBH-555, BG-II Cotton Hybrid Tukaram, BGII Cotton Hybrid Vardhaman, Elite Paddy Chulbul ( RJ 55), Elite Paddy Janaki-1010, Elite Paddy Revati / Rajshree, Elite Paddy RJ 95 and Hybrid Paddy Chetak-115 (Maruti-115).
