Nitol Insurance Company Limited engages in the non-life insurance business in Bangladesh. The company offers property insurance, including fire and allied perils, hotel owner’s all risks, property damage all risks, power plant operational package, and household all risks insurance products, as well as industrial all risks insurance, such as machinery breakdown and business interruption insurance products. It also provides motor insurance containing automobile comprehensive insurance and automobile act liability insurance products; and marine insurance, including all types of marine cargo and hull insurance products. In addition, the company offers engineering insurance, including contractor’s all risks, erection all risks, boiler and pressure vessel, machinery breakdown, stock deterioration, and electronic equipment insurance products. Further, it provides miscellaneous insurance, such as financial insurance comprising cash-in-safe, cash-on-counter, cash-in-transit, public liability, product liability, burglary and housebreaking, fidelity guarantee, personal accident, workmen's compensation, and aviation insurance products; and overseas mediclaim insurance consisting of business and holiday, and employment and studies insurance products. The company was incorporated in 1999 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
