The Mauritius Development Investment Trust Company Limited operates as an approved investment institution with the objective of holding and managing securities in Mauritius. The firm invests in stocks where their respective prices have fallen below their fundamentals and subscribes to rights issues of shares, bonds and depositary receipts with good growth potentials. It has a portfolio of investments in 104 local companies operating in the investment holdings, funds and trust companies, commerce, sugar, property development, leisure and hotels, industry, banks, insurance and other finance, overseas and transport sectors of the Mauritian economy.
