Metis Energy Limited is a Singapore-based company. The principal activities of the Company are those of investment holding and the provision of management services. It operates through five segments. The Power Plant segment relates to the construction, acquisition, operations and maintenance of power plants and the production and sale of electric power in Indonesia. The Renewable Energy segment relates to the construction, acquisition, operations and maintenance of renewable generation facilities and the production and sale of renewable energy in Vietnam. The Shipping segment relates to ship-chartering and the provision of freight services in Indonesia, mainly for coal-carrying activities. The Property Development segment relates to property development activities in the People's Republic of China (PRC). The Corporate and Others segment is involved in corporate services, treasury functions, investments in properties and others, including overburden removal services.
