Doha Insurance Group Q.P.S.C., together with its subsidiaries, engages in insurance and reinsurance businesses in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Germany, and Jordan. It operates through four segments: Motor, Marine, and Aviation; Fire; General and Accident; and Group Life and Health. The company offers personal insurance products, such as car, travel, and yacht insurance products; kunooz insurance products, including fine art and collectibles, personal jewelry, and classic car collection insurance; and corporate insurance products comprising motor fleet, aviation, engineering, fire, health, marine, and cyber insurance products. It also engages in the provision of insurance intermediation and management services; provision of Islamic insurance and reinsurance; provision of information technology solutions; real estate investment, holding, and leasing operations; and trades in computer network devices and computer software. The company was formerly known as Doha Insurance Company Q.S.C. and changed its name to Doha Insurance Group Q.P.S.C. in March 2017. Doha Insurance Group Q.P.S.C. was incorporated in 1999 and is headquartered in Doha, Qatar.
