Browns Investments PLC, together with its subsidiaries, operates in the plantation management, agriculture, leisure, and construction sectors in Sri Lanka. It operates through Investments, Construction & Manufacturing, Plantations, Leisure and Travel, Real Estates, and Renewable Energy segments. The company engages in the cultivation and plantation of black and green tea, rubber, cinnamon, coconut, commercial timber, and ancillary crops; and offers chemical fertilizer, organic fertilizer, granular fertilizer, water soluble fertilizer, seed paddy, grain seeds, hybrid exotic vegetable seeds, local vegetable seeds, agro chemicals, growth stimulants, and specialty agro products. It offers tours to luxury sea, river cruises, and expeditions; and inbound and out bound tour services, which include air ticketing services, visa handling and facilitation, travel insurance, hotel reservations services, and rail travel and tented camping services. In addition, the company offers aluminum composite panel cladding, curtain wall, aluminum glazed partitions, structural glazing, handrails, aluminum and glass doors, aluminum sliding and fix windows, casement windows, spider glaze, and aluminum canopy; and operates an entertainment hub, which include game arcades, a food court, a bowling alley, and other fun rides, as well as restaurants and conference facilities. Further, it operates leisure properties comprising The Eden Resort & Spa, Dickwella Resort & Spa, The Calm Resort & Spa, and The Paradise Resort & Spa. Additionally, the company engages in the hotelier, fibre installation, metal crushing, real estate development, trading and manufacturing, and solar power generation business, as well as provides recreational activities and investing in ventures. Browns Investments PLC was incorporated in 2008 and is based in Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka.
