Mistakes that people do is that they use P/E on historical earnings as valuation for Aemetis. You will miss OBVIOUS changes in the market: for example AEMETIS is not anymore a “past ethanol” player. Corn went from $3.20 to $5.30, but ethanol prices only increased a little (even if RINs went at $100). So people think that “ex ethanol players” will go down. PAST EARNINGS WILL NOT TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT FUTURE PROFITS. Future profits, that is what counts, come from new products/plants, with lower costs and higher revenues.   The focus on building of renewable natural gas project (BIOGAS in California) clearly state it: 1 Diary is $2Mln per year of EBITDA, so 17 dairies is +$30Mln per year of EBITDA. Aemetis has 2 dairies online, it is growing to 17 dairies in 18 months and 52 dairies in 4y Doing the simple math of $2Mln times the number of dairies brought into production each year provides future earnings growth. And there are also other projects: India, Electric Vehicles, Hand sanitizers, etc
