- SMT SA (WA:SMTP), which was founded in 2001 as ADV.pl Sp. z.o.o by its current CEO Mr Pankiewicz and his friend, is today one of the most innovative companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange with yearly sales of PLN >250m. Over the last years, the company, which was originally a project-based online advertising agency, has concentrated on high-margin software development services and own scalable IT products. All its profit-contributing units, meaning the subsidiaries Codemedia, SMT Software Services, iAlbatros and SATIS GPS, are among the TOP 5 players in Poland in their respective segments.
- SMT’s management consider the fully-consolidated subsidiaries iAlbatros and SATIS GPS their core business, on which they plan to focus their attention in the coming years. While revenues at Codemedia and SMT Software Services are developing well due to robust demand for advertising and IT outsourcing solutions, both iAlbatros (SaaS-based E-Procurement tool for business hotel bookings) and SATIS GPS (GPS/GIS-based monitoring and ERP tool for car, truck and machine fleets), which already generate >70% of their sales outside Poland (EVRe), are considered the subsidiaries with the largest international sales potential. In 2014, iAlbatros signed two new 4-year contracts with a value of over PLN 1bn from one of the largest utilities in Europe GDF Suez (PA:ENGIE) and AMUE, which is in charge of hotel bookings for all 85 universities in France. SATIS GPS has worked in the last years with customers such as Coca-Cola and the Ministry of Justice in Poland, Saudi-Aramco in Saudi-Arabia, the German border patrol and Police in Senegal.
