Ethereum Falls Below $4,000 Following PPI Data; Bittensor, ApeCoin Among Top Losers

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices falling below the key $73,000 level on Thursday.

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded losses, trading below the key $4,000 mark this morning.

dogwifhat (CRYPTO: WIF) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Bittensor (CRYPTO: TAO) turned out to be the biggest loser.

The Producer Price Index for final demand in the U.S. increased by 0.6% month-over-month in February, higher than market expectations of a 0.3% rise.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $2.76 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2.1%. BTC was trading lower by 0.5% at $72,710 while ETH fell by around 2.3% to $3,931 on Thursday.
