Update: The World Health Organization recommends use of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine for all adults over the age of 18. The Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) recommending extending the time between first and second doses to between 8 and 12 weeks. Despite concerns from some European countries, the WHO recommended the vaccine for those over 65. France and Germany's national heath bodies have both recommended the vaccine not be used in those over 65.
