Drought pushes grain prices up

Great plains district in the US suffers from drought that can affect the grain crops. The grains futures prices started rising. For how long will this trend last?

Dry weather can affect the wheat crops not only in the US, but in Ukraine and Russia as well. For instance, grain production in Ukraine can contract by 10%. On CBOT exchange, the net short position in soy, wheat and corn is held, according to Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
