Investing.com -- China's Commerce Ministry said it has agreed with the U.S. on a text for a phase-1 trade deal, according to the Chinese English-language paper Global Times.

The text "includes nine chapters, including intellectual property rights, technology transfer, food and agriculture, financial services, exchange rate and transparency, expanding trade, bilateral evaluation, dispute settlement and final agreement," the GT said, without providing details.

There was, however, still no joint statement on what has actually been agreed. The Chinese comments come only a few minutes after President Donald Trump denied via Twitter reports suggesting that he was willing to cut import tariffs on Chinese goods in stages in return for commitments to buy U.S. agricultural goods.

Nothing being sign yet and still will be changes and uncertain.
Even worse. Then markets can go another 20% up on a hope for a deal
Better to sign it, have 1 day euphoria, and then people realize that damage is already done and 2019 rally is not justified
Did not see the sign deal...only talking to stir up th economy
I hope there's a clause in there to compensate US companies x10 times as much as the revenue Chinese companies generate from the infringement of intellectual property.
almost everything is copied.
Yeah, so what? Bil Gates and Steve Jobs are biggest infringement masters ever!
Funny enough. probably, your iphone or smart phone are copied (fake) verison from china? :D did you check them?
Trade wars are easy to win mmmm I mean manipulate.
Yes they are, especially if you are cleverer than the guy who started it. I think the deal Trump has made is exactly the same as they had before the trade war started.
Ho-Ho-Ho! ;D
trump said the text was fake news.
The news released make some Asia stocks higher high up and Europe Stocks as well higher high.....don't really understand...
Just the usual talks... zzzzz
More of the same. Yeah but no but!
Many rounds of talks and only phase 1 has been reached ... without any joint conference. Chinese will wait untiltill they take what they want.
Again no concrete evidence and only talk in the air.. no real date when for the signed deal..... sad
